Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. College in the seminary at Notre Dame. Masters Degree in Theology in Washington, D.C. Ordination at Notre Dame.
Assignments: parishes in New Orleans, LA, (1968-1974), Austin, TX, (1974-1980), Monterrey, Mexico (1990-2011), Tampa, FL (2012-2015). Worked for Holy Cross for 14 years: (1980-1988) and (2015-2021).
Now I am happy to be at St Ignatius again.
President Steve Palmer
Member of st. Ignatius Martyr parish since 1973. Joined the men’s club in 1989 and became a charter member of k of c council 10131 same year following in my dad’s footsteps. Other positions held at the parish include: parish council chair; school board chair; troop 33 chair and lector for the past 40 years. Born in ft. Knox Kentucky and raised in Kansas. Received Batchelor degree from southwest Texas state in business psychology and management. Retired from 30 years service with the Texas department of transportation. Hobbies include bbq catering, sports and antiques. Best friend is an irish setter named “charlie “. Proud parent of 2 and grandparent of 2 and married at st. Ignatius almost 40 years ago. Love the notre dame fighting irish! Come join us at the men’s club!

Member of Saint Ignatius Martyr parish since 2015 and joined the Men’s Club in 2021. Moved to Austin in 2015 to be near three children and four grand children. Married to Karen Michlik for 38 years. Currently working in the insurance and financial services industry for the past 14 years. Karen and Steve feel highly blessed to be a part of the St. Ignatius family.
